Whiskey Bar

Whiskey Bar

This Japanese inspired whiskey bar is part of a ground up rebuild of a 1981 contemporary home.

The soft black Shou Sugi Ban walls are made with a traditional technique used to preserve wood by charring and finishing with oil.

Lumisheet LED lighting with Lumicore tatami decorative panels allow six walnut “masu” boxes to display a prized collection of bottles.

The back wall of the bar includes whitewashed barn board planks and custom Rimadesio Stripe sliding doors in brown lacquer and bronze glass.

This is truly one of a kind, and meant to feel like and underground secret.
